Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has blossomed into one of the best tight ends in NFL history, but he didn't have the most storied college career.
Kelce, 34, is set to play in his fourth Super Bowl on Feb. 12, looking for his third championship. He recently broke the NFL record for career playoff receptions with 11 catches in Kansas City's AFC Championship win over Baltimore, bringing his career total to 152. Jerry Rice is in second at 151.

The third-round pick of the 2013 NFL Draft (63rd overall) narrowly missed on his ninth consecutive season with over 1,000 receiving yards this year, as he missed two games this season due to injury and finished with 984 yards.
Fresh off leading Kansas City with 11 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown in the AFC Championship, Kelce is looking to build upon his performance against San Francisco on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Where did Travis Kelce go to college?
Kelce played college football at Cincinnati, where he spent five seasons but only one as a starter.
After a standout redshirt senior season in 2012 where he finished with 45 receptions for 722 yards and eight touchdowns, Kelce was drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft by Kansas City, where he has spent his entire 10-year career.
The Cleveland Heights, Ohio, native also played alongside his brother, Jason Kelce, a six-time All-Pro center with the Philadelphia Eagles. The duo played for the Bearcats together for one season in 2009 before Jason was selected in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
In 2012, Cincinnati finished the season 10-3 and were named co-champions of the Big East before defeating Duke 48-34 in the Belk Bowl.
