What's the quarterfinal schedule for Athens-area basketball playoff teams?
The second round of high school basketball playoffs is in the books.
More Athens-area teams saw their seasons end. Oconee County, Jefferson, Commerce and Athens Academy girls all hit the wall, while Oglethorpe County and Athens Christian boys also made their departure.
That leaves five still in the hunt for a state championship in 2024. Here are the local programs still alive and their opponents next week in the GHSA quarterfinals.
