PICKS! Week 8 Picks: Which sleeper teams will hand picker an L?

Ontario 34, Marion Harding 0

The Warriors took care of business with a 34-0 win to remain undefeated and give themselves a chance to clinch an outright Mid-Ohio Atheltic Conference championship in Week 9.

Mason Vantilburg got the scoring started on a 30-yard touchdown run before Peyton Dzugan executed a trick play to perfection with a pass to Jon Mahon. Bodpegn Miller then added a 30-yard touchdown run, followed by a Chase Studer 10-yard score. Miller finished off a big night with a 25-yard touchdown pass to Landon Foltz. Trey Booker connected on 4-of-5 point-after attempts.

Defensively, the Warriors posted their fourth shutout of the season as Braylon Wilson and Landon Foltz both came up with interceptions.

The Warriors (8-0, 5-0 MOAC) host Shelby in Week 9, and a win nets the Warriors an outright league championship.

Shelby 36, Clear Fork 21

The Shelby Whippets came alive in the second half of a homecoming victory.

Quarterback Brayden DeVito hit Issaiah Ramsey on a 90-yard strike with 1:54 left in the first quarter to get the scoring started, but the Colts responded when Kasey Swank ran for a 16-yard TD with 8:56 left in the first half to even the score. Swank's 6-yard scoring run gave the Colts a 14-7 lead with 3:46 remaining in the half but DeVito connected with Nic Eyster on the Whippets's second big play of the night, a 60-yard pass to make it 14-14 at the half.

The Whippets then scored 22 unanswered. DeVito opened the second half up with a 55-yard run and later added a 25-yarder to make it 29-14. Skyler Winters had a 1-yard run to cap off the run. Swank scored his third TD of the game on a 5-yard run for the Colts' first fourth-quarter points of the season but it was too little too late.

DeVito connected on eight passes for 235 yards while running for 170 on 10 carries. Ramsey caught four balls for 147 yards. Swank ran for 212 yards on 37 carries while Nick Appleman ran for 110 on 17 touches. Swank three for 37 yards.

Shelby (6-2, 4-1 MOAC) is at Ontario in Week 9. Clear Fork (1-7, 0-5) hosts Highland next week.

St. Paul 33, Crestview 7

The Cougars saw their quest for a fourth straight Firelands Conference championship come to an end.

The Flyers took a 27-0 lead into halftime before Ayden Reymer was able to get the Cougars on the board with a 31-yard touchdown run. But it wasn't enough to get the Cougars back into it.

Crestview (3-5, 2-2) is at Western Reserve in Week 9.
