Jack Bowles hits 1,000 career points

The Hornets had reasons to celebrate in the face of adversity during Week 6. Hillsdale senior captain and scoring leader Jack Bowles accomplished a career milestone during the team's game against Adrian Madison. Bowles passed the 1,000-career points milestone.

"Jack scoring his 1000th point is a testament to all of the time and effort he has put in over his career," Hillsdale coach Rob Salisbury said. "He has put in a lot of hard work, not only during the season, but especially in the off season, to get to where he is today. These types of accolades are well deserved by Jack, and it is by no accident that he has accomplished them."

The senior scored a total of 19 points in the game, including three triples. Earlier in the week, he had 17 points and three triples against Blissfield.
