Watertown football and volleyball teams each remain fourth rated in this week's polls

Warner has moved back to No. 1 in Class 9A and Deuel is finally ranked in Class 11B in this week's South Dakota Prep Media football poll released on Monday.

The Monarchs (5-0) jumped from No. 2 after Canistota lost last week. Deuel (6-0) is fifth in Class 11B.

Other area rated football teams include Watertown (3-2), fourth in 11AA; Sioux Valley (6-0), second in 11B; Hamlin )(6-0), second in 9AA; Faulkton Area (5-1), first in 9B; De Smet (4-1), second in 9B; and Hitchcock-Tulare (4-2), fourth in 9B.

Aberdeen Central (3-2 in 11AA), Deubrook Area (5-1 in 9A) and Herreid-Selby Area (4-2 in 9B) also received votes this week.

Warner, Northwestern and Watertown held their ground in this week's South Dakota Prep Media volleyball poll. Warner (22-0) is still No. 1 and Northwestern (18-5) No. 3 in Class B. Watertown (8-3) continues to hold down the No. 4 spot in AA.

Aberdeen Central (8-3, AA) and Aberdeen Roncalli (9-1, A) each received votes this week.
