Watch: Warriors’ Juan Toscano-Anderson explodes for vicious putback dunk in first quarter vs. Grizzlies

With their playoff hopes on the line, the Golden State Warriors came out flat against the Memphis Grizzlies in the final Western Conference play-in game. Trailing by 11 with six minutes remaining in the opening frame, Juan Toscano-Anderson checked into the game.

The Oakland native instantly provided a spark off the bench. Around a minute after entering the contest, Toscano-Anderson lit the Chase Center crowd up with a vicious putback dunk. Following a missed 3-pointer from Steph Curry, Toscano-Anderson spiked an emphatic one-handed jam.

Following Toscano-Anderson’s dunk, the Warriors went on a run to end the quarter. Curry drilled a barrage of 3-pointers, including a four-point play to cut the Memphis lead to only one point at the end of the first quarter.

Toscano-Anderson finished the first quarter with two points on 1-of-2 shooting from the floor with a rebound in six minutes.
