WATCH: Tez Walker scores first touchdown of season

North Carolina wide receiver Tez Walker is officially on the board.

After making his debut against Syracuse last week, the wide receiver is playing in his second game since being granted eligibility and has now found the end zone for the first time. Walker scored his first touchdown of the season on North Carolina’s second drive of the game against the Miami Hurricanes.

On third down and goal, Drake Maye hit Walker for an 18-yard touchdown to put the Tar Heels up early in this Atlantic Coast Conference. Watch as Walker works the seam and then catches the accurate throw from Maye:

Walker missed the first four games of the season after being ruled ineligible due to transferring twice before landing at North Carolina. With appeals denied, Walker didn’t think he’d play at all.

But before the Syracuse game, Walker received the good news that he was eligible. And now he can play a big role for this UNC offense.

Let’s look at some social media reactions to Walker’s first touchdown.
