WATCH: LeBron James scores 26 points in win vs. Timberwolves

The Los Angeles Lakers made it two wins in a row after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves in a close affair.

LeBron James once again led the Lakers in scoring with 26 points as he hit 7-of-15 shots from the field and 3-of-9 from deep to go with seven rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block in 39 minutes. He converted 9-of-12 free throws while turning the ball over just once.

Though his streak of seven straight 30-point games got snapped, winning the game was the crucial takeaway from this contest. The schedule does not get easier later this month, so the Lakers needed to take advantage of a short-handed Timberwolves squad.
