WATCH: Ex-Patriot Josh Gordon hauls in 65-yard game-winning touchdown

Former New England Patriots receiver Josh Gordon looked like “Flash” reincarnated in the XFL on Saturday.

He helped lead the 0-2 Seattle Sea Dragons to their first win of the season over the Vegas Vipers with a 65-yard game-winning touchdown. Make no mistake, it wasn’t just a one-and-done play, either.

Gordon dominated throughout the game by hauling in six receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns. It was one of those performances that make you ponder what-if when it came to his NFL career. There was a time when Gordon was considered by many to be the best receiver in all of football.

A game-winner on a fourth-down is a remarkable feat for the former All-Pro wideout. The XFL’s existence is validated for fans getting an opportunity to still see other world-class athletes like Gordon go out there and compete.

It’s been a fun ride so far.
