Allen defended his Penn Relays 110-meter hurdles title in a photo finish, beating Rafael Pereira of Brazil by 0.002 seconds in front of teammates Jake Elliott, Tyrie Cleveland, Greg Ward, Ian Book, and Tyree Jackson.

Allen was clocked at 13.457 ahead of Pereira, who clocked at 13.459.
