While we might not be seeing enough of him on the court in recent games, with the work ethic and determination he is known for, Boston Celtics rookie Aaron Nesmith will get there soon enough.

And for those of us who aren’t familiar with the drive Nesmith has at everything in life, let’s take a closer look. The Vanderbilt product may be the most diverse rookie this season off the court. He’s a pool shark, home architect, fishing pond builder and fisherman in addition to being a basketball fanatic who has made a reputation for himself as an irrepressibly hard worker on the court.

NBA player deep dive media outlet CloseUp360 ventured to his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, to see him in action and learn about his impact in the city as a three-time state champion, following in the footsteps of fellow Porter-Gaud School graduate and current Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton.
