WATCH: Damar Hamlin’s uncle updates Bills player’s condition

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin is still on a slow route to recovery from the cardic arrest episode that unfolded for him during Monday’s game against the Bengals.

However, his uncle provided a positive update on Tuesday evening.

From Cincinnati where Hamlin remains, his uncle, Dorrian Glenn, spoke to local media including WROC-TV.

Previously reports started that Glenn said the oxygen level the 24-year-old is receiving is now at a rate of 50 percent assistance. That’s down from 100 percent when he originally arrived at the hospital, which is a sign of improved breathing.

That does not mean Hamlin is fully recovered as he still has a ways to go, but any positive news is welcomed at such a trying time.
