How to watch Akron Zips, Kent State men's basketball play in MAC Tournament

The March Madness is about to begin.

Before the NCAA Division I men's college basketball tournament can tip off in earnest, though, teams will first compete in their respective conference tournaments that can decide seeding and even who gets in.

Both the Akron Zips and Kent State Golden Flashes will compete in the MAC Tournament on Thursday, March 14.

The Zips enter the fray as the No. 2 seed in the conference, while Kent State is the No. 8 seed.

Here's how to watch as the MAC Tournament unfolds.

No. 2 seed Akron will face off against No. 7 seed Miami (OH) on Thursday, March 14. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.

As with all the first round games in the tournament, the games can be streamed with an ESPN+ subscription.

How to watch Kent State Golden Flashes men's basketball in MAC Tournament

No. 8 Kent State will take on the top-seeded MAC team, Toledo, on Thursday, March 14. Tipoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.

Fans can stream the game through an ESPN+ subscription.

What is the MAC Tournament schedule for Friday?

Starting at 5 p.m. ET, the winner of the game between Kent State and Toledo will play against the winner of the game between Central Michigan and Bowling Green.

After that, at 7:30 p.m. ET, the winner of the showdown between Akron and Miami (OH) will play whoever wins the game between Ohio and Western Michigan.

Both games will be available to watch live on CBS Sports Network.

When is the men's college basketball MAC Tournament championship game?

The winners of Friday's games will play for the MAC title Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 and can be streamed via the ESPN app with a login.
