Watch: 97-year-old WWII veteran shares wholesome moment with Cooper Kupp at Rams game

If you need something to pick you up today, this video of Cooper Kupp meeting a 97-year-old World War II veteran will surely do the trick.

Isaiah Garza shared a video on social media that went viral a few weeks ago after he surprised Mr. Goode, a veteran, with a trip to Disneyland. They spent the day together and became friends, but that wasn’t the last time Garza had a surprise for Mr. Goode.

When the Rams faced the Panthers in Week 6, Garza gave Mr. Goode an incredible gameday experience at SoFi Stadium where he got to watch his favorite team. Mr. Goode was taken onto the field before kickoff, where Cooper Kupp came over and shared a touching moment with the kind gentleman.

“Oh no! You mean he would come over here?” Mr. Goode asked after being told he’d get introduced to Kupp. “I wonder if we could get his autograph.”

Kupp came over and shook Mr. Goode’s hand, and one of the first things Mr. Goode said was, “You’re really good.” He’s not wrong, either!

Kupp replied by saying, “I hope we can put on a good show for you today” and proceeded to sign his jersey. Mr. Goode said he was on cloud nine, calling the day “a miracle.”

“One of the happiest days of my life,” he said.
