Warriors expecting Chris Paul and Klay Thompson to play against Suns

The Golden State Warriors expect Chris Paul and Klay Thompson to be available for their game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday (Dec. 12.) Both veterans have been dealing with illness recently, with Paul missing the Warriors’ recent loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Both Paul and Thompson have struggled throughout the first quarter of the season. Neither is shooting the ball well, and both have endured criticism for their production levels throughout the Warriors slump. Still, as veteran stars in the league, they have earned some patience from the coaching staff, and the common consensus is that both will figure things out and get back to their best.

With almost a full-strength roster available, the Warriors will enter their game against the Suns hoping to get back to winning ways. Golden State has also received a boost with the news that Kevin Durant is questionable to participate in the contest. However, the focus should be on sustaining their performance levels throughout an entire game and not taking their foot off the gas.

After all, the Warriors came into the season with hopes of challenging for a championship. Putting this current rough patch behind them will be the first step in building championship habits.
