Warriors’ Donte DiVincenzo throws out first pitch at Giants vs. Dodgers game

One of the newest members of the Golden State Warriors was recently welcomed to the Bay Area on the baseball diamond.

Before the start of the San Francisco Giants‘ rivalry matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Donte DiVincenzo toed the rubber at Oracle Park. Only blocks away from Chase Center, Golden State’s newly signed guard fired out the first pitch in front of the San Francisco crowd prior to the start of the Giants’ contest against the league-leading Dodgers.

DiVincenzo joins fellow new teammates Steph Curry and Jonathan Kuminga as members of the Warriors to throw out first pitches for either the Giants or Oakland Athletics over the summer.

After spending the first four seasons of his NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings, DiVincenzo signed a two-year deal with the Warriors in July. The former Villanova product has averaged 9.0 points on 41.5% shooting from the floor and 34.7% from beyond the arc with 4.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 201 games in his career.
