There were several top performers in Tuscaloosa area girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week.

Anna Christian Beeker, Tuscaloosa Academy golf: Shot a 74 in Tuscaloosa Academy's win at the Florence Invitational at Turtle Point Golf Club.

Alessandra Vazquez, Tuscaloosa County soccer: Scored one goal in a 2-1 loss to Central.

Savannah Deerman, American Christian softball: Batted 3-for-4 with one RBI and run in an 11-0 win over Northridge. Had two RBIs, two runs and one home run in an 11-0 win over West Blocton.

Ally Gonzalez, Southern Academy softball: Batted 2-for-3 in a 3-1 win over Patrician Academy. Had two hits in a 6-6 tie to Patrician Academy in the second game.
