Vote for the SouthCoast High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 27-Feb. 4
The winner for last week’s Girls Basketball Player of the Week poll was Wareham’s Johnny Tompkins. Tompkins received more than 4,000 votes (65%) to earn the honor.
In three games, Tompkins had a combined 35 points, including 16 against Rising Tide.
The previous winners were New Bedford’s Alaysha Sylvia-Figueroa and Lexi Thompson, Old Rochester’s Emerson Gonet and Wareham’s Jordyn Elwood.

Addison Taylor, Apponequet
Taylor had 15 points and seven steals to help the Lakers beat Fairhaven.
CC Levrault, Apponequet
Levrault notched 14 points, four assists and eight steals in a win over the Blue Devils.
Kat Cheesebro, Dartmouth
In two games, Cheesebro had a combined 48 points. She also had seven steals against Brockton.
Kaelyn Zuber, Dartmouth
Zuber scored 16 points in a win over New Bedford and had seven rebounds and five steals in a win over Brockton.
Kaira Dubois, GNB Voc-Tech
In two games, Dubois had a combined 33 points. She also had six steals against Somerset Berkley.
Jai-Ana Silva, GNB Voc-Tech
Silva had a combined 44 points in a pair of games. She also had 10 rebounds against Somerset Berkley and 13 steals against Bristol-Plymouth.

Lexi Thompson, New Bedford
In two games, Thompson had a combined 32 points and 22 rebounds.
Lindsey Bacchiocchi, Old Colony
Bacchiocchi had a combined 25 points in a pair of games for Old Colony. She scored 14 in the Cougars’ win over South Shore.
Amber Engel, Old Rochester
In two games, Engel had a combined 27 points.
Hannah Thorell, Old Rochester
Thorell had a combined 23 points in a pair of games. She also had 20 rebounds in a win over Dighton-Rehoboth.
