POLLS ARE CLOSED! Borger's Adraya Loftis is Happy State Bank Female Athlete of the Week
THE POLLS ARE CLOSED! The voting is over and we have our Happy State Bank Female Athlete of the Week.
After 50,774 votes have been cast, the readers have made their choice: Adraya Loftis of Borger.
Loftis had an outstanding week. Loftis registered 50 kills, seven blocks, 24 digs and 45 assists and wound up receiving 18,930 votes, a whopping 37.28% of the total.
Meredith Sanning of Tascosa was not far behind her with 11,584 for 22.81% of the vote. Sanning was fantastic last week with 45 assists against Hereford, 52 against Ponder, 44 against Canyon, 39 against Wylie and 58 against Randall.
Tessica Deanda of Highland Park took third with 8,132 votes (16.02%) and West Plains' Zenaida Murillo finished fourth with 4,205 votes (8.28%). Gavi Alvarez of Dumas, Reese Dindinger of Caprock, London Baker of Hereford, Reese Dehart of River Road, and Sienna Cavalier of Amarillo High all received over 1,000 votes to show the competitiveness of the vote.
Randall's Jordyn Gove was also a contender.
