Vote for Mississippi girls high school athlete of the week Feb. 5-10

There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for Feb. 5-10.

Kambree Freeman, South Jones: Freeman scored a hat trick in South Jones' 5-0 win over Gautier.

Laylah Johnson, Pisgah: Johnson produced 16 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks in Pisgah's 48-41 win over St. Andrew’s.

Katye Jones, Leake Academy: Jones produced 24 points and 16 rebounds in Leake Academy's 55-53 win over Pillow Academy.

Lauren Sutton, Madison Central: Sutton recorded 22 points and three steals in Madison Central';'s 49-43 win over Clinton.

Nakyiah Walker, Independence: Walker recorded 25 points, 15 rebounds and eight steals in Independence's 55-21 win over Rosa Fort.

Kylenn Ward, St. Martin: Ward produced 22 points, six steals and five assists in St. Martin's 42-34 win over Biloxi.

Payton Wilson, Pelahatchie: Wilson produced 21 points, nine rebounds and six steals in Pelahatchie's 58-30 win over Pisgah.
