Vote for Mississippi boys high school athlete of the week Dec. 4-9

There were several top performers across the state in boys high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for Dec. 4-9.

Whit Altmyer, Heritage Academy: Altmyer scored 32 points in Heritage Academy's 58-55 loss to Jackson Academy.

De’Traun Brown, Newton: Brown scored 27 points in Newton's 64-49 win over Forest.

Nehemiah Flemmings, Houlka: Flemmings scored 22 points in Houlka's 65-62 win over East Union.

Daveon Henry, Yazoo City: Henry produced 23 points, eight assists and five rebounds in Yazoo City's 63-39 win over Yazoo County.

Cooper Kennedy, West Jones: Kennedy produced 25 points and five assists in West Jones' 65-63 win over Kemper County.

Kelan Rich, Pascagoula: Rich scored 33 points in Pascagoula's 76-44 win over Long Beach.
