It is time again to vote for the DC Roofing 321preps Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.
The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Oct. 23-28. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday this week.
Last week's winner was Ezra Engle of MCC football. Find a list of the 2023-24 winners at the bottom.
Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.
Here are this week's nominees:
Rayshaan Berry, Eau Gallie football
Berry made a team-high 13 tackles, seven solo, in Friday's district-winning game against Rockledge. He recorded two tackles for loss.
Lucas Brown, Viera swimming
Brown won the 200 freestyle in 1:49.36, the 500 free (4:51.31) and swam on the winning 200 free relay at the District 10-3A meet.
Autumn Flach, Heritage swimming
Flach won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:20.75 and won the 100 breaststroke (1:08.93) at the District 10-3A swimming and diving meet.
Chris Kelly, Merritt Island football
Kelly rushed 34 times for 196 yards, scored one touchdown and caught two passes Friday in a District 10-3S victory at Satellite.
Lilly Parker, Brevard Heat golf
Parker shot 68 for 18 holes to win medalist honors at the District 7-1A tournament Monday at The Timacuan Club in Lake Mary.
Connor Robinson, Heritage football
Robinson added to his career record sack total Friday to reach 30 and made four tackles behind the line for the Panthers.
Messiah Robinson, Cocoa football
Robinson recorded seven pancake blocks, his season high, on Friday for the Tigers as they won the District 12-2S championship.
Carson Sisler, Cocoa Beach golf
Sisler shot an 18-hole round of 72 at the LPGA International Jones Course for the District 7-1A boys golf tournament.
Sofia Trujillo, Space Coast bowling
Trujillo bowled games of 200-257-234 for a 691 on Monday at River Lanes to lead the District 10 girls bowling tournament individually.
Sean Williams, Bayside bowling
At the District 11 boys bowling tournament at Palm Bay Shore Lanes on Tuesday, Williams posted the top score with a 247-214-246 for a 707.
Ray Wilson-Polydor, Titusville football
Wilson-Polydor scored two touchdowns on three catches for 125 yards Friday in the Hudson Trophy game, also recording three tackles.
