It's time to take a look at the standout performers from Section V.

Your vote will determine who determine who will be the Bill Gray's Athlete of the Week for May 13-19. The players' credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Wednesday morning.

Michael Alvarez

The Edison junior had five hits in five at-bats in the Rochester City Athletic Conference baseball tournament final, after he was 3 for 4 in the semifinal game.

Ellie Bergin

The senior midfielder helped Pittsford win its final two games of the regular season with nine goals in those two games. She scored four in a win over Ithaca and in a win over Honeoye Falls-Lima to give her a team-best 53 for the season.

Brody Burgess

The Victor golf star won the Super Sectionals title when he shot a tournament low even-par 71 on Monday at Clifton Springs Country Club. The win gave Burgess an automatic spot in the state tournament. Burgess also repeated as the Section V Class AA champion.

Matt Clark

The Wayland-Cohocton sophomore pitched six innings, shutting out Hornell after allowing 3 hits and striking out 4 batters. He walked no hitters.

Aiden Cawley

The senior midfielder scored 11 goals in two games for Hilton. He scored six in a loss to Victor and five in a loss to Penfield, giving him a team-best 40 goals for the regular season.

Camryn Cole

The Webster Schroeder senior won three outdoor track and field events during the Monroe County Championships at Rush-Henrietta. The 2022 Democrat and Chronicle Girls Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year high jumped 5 feet-0 inches, won the 100-meter hurdles race in 16.18 seconds and long jumped 18-7.25, a season-best in Section V.

Gabriel Cromer

The Pittsford Sutherland junior was a two-time Monroe County league champion after winning the 200 and 400 races during the league championships at Rush-Henrietta.

Jessie Crye

The Avon pitcher threw a no-hitter during the Braves' 18-2 win over Pembroke in the Section V Class C1 first round on Friday. Crye struck out nine batters in the win and hit an RBI-triple for the reigning section champs.

Meredith Czajkowski

The Bath Haverling senior won three events during the Livingston County Championships at Caledonia-Mumford, the shortest sprints: the 100-meter dash, 200 and 400. She also placed second in the long jump.

Brennan Delany

The Hornell senior won four outdoor track and field events during the Livingston County Championships: the 110-meter high hurdles (15.14), pole vault (13 feet-7 inches), triple jump (43-5.25) and long jump (21-5.50). He is No. 4 on the Section V season-performance pole vault leaderboard. His 100 hurdles time is the fastest of the season in Section V.

Taylor Filighera

The Irondequoit junior finished with three runs batted while going for 5 for 5 in a Monroe County league baseball game won by the Eagles.

Drew Fishback

The Geneva boys tennis star repeated as a Section V champion when he defeated Evan Phillips of Wayne 10-0 in the Class A2 finals on May 13.

Dan Gawel

The Honeoye freshman drove in 4 runs, finished 3 for 4 with 2 triples and scored 4 runs during a Finger Lakes West baseball game won by the Bulldogs.

Corintia Griffith

The Webster Schroeder junior triple jumped 40-9 during the Monroe County Championships at Rush-Henrietta, the greatest distance in the state and Section V this season.

Cayden Hughes

The Newark senior long jumped 23-1.50 at Geneva during the Wayne-Finger Lakes Championships. No one has jumped further in this event in Section V during the high school outdoor track and field season.

Aloysha Lynd

The School of the Arts junior struck out 10 batters in seven innings during a baseball game won by the Silverhawks. He also won the 800-meter outdoor track and field race during the Rochester City Athletic Conference Championships at Franklin.

Zoe Marcus

The Fairport senior once again ran the fastest reported 1,500-meter race of the Section V outdoor track and field season, this time in 4 minutes, 41.58 seconds during the Monroe County Championships at Rush-Henrietta.

Anais Martinez

A sophomore on the Franklin/World of Inquiry outdoor track and field team, she won the 100, 200 and 400 dashes during the Rochester City Athletic Conferernce Championships at Franklin.

Lilly Mattucci

The sophomore midfielder ended the regular season on a hot streak with 10 goals in Hilton's final three games. She scored five against Churchville-Chili, two against Webster Thomas and three against Aquinas to give her a team-best 30 goals.

Kyra Pellegrino

The Gates Chili senior was a double winner at the Monroe County Championships, finishing first in the 3,000-meter race and 2,000 steeplechase.

Cohyn Reisman

The senior attackman helped Gananda win three games last week with 14 goals. He opened with three goals against Midlakes/Red Jacket, scored five against Bloomfield/Honeoye then capped his regular season with six goals against Bishop Kearney to give him 40 for the season.

Grace Taberski

The Irondequoit sophomore plays defensive cornerback on the school's flag football team, and returned an interception more than 50 yards for a touchdown during a game against Gates Chili.

Gavin White

An eighth-grader at University Preparatory Charter School or UPrep, he high-jumped 6-5 during the Private-Parochial League Championships at Aquinas. That is the top height cleared in Section V this spring.

Dominic Zona

The Greece Arcadia junior drove in three of his baseball team's six runs, hit a home run and pitched a three-hitter in seven innings at Eastridge.
