It's time to take a look at the standout performers from Section V.

Your vote will determine who will be the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week for Feb. 12-18. The players' credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Wednesday morning.

All athletes who play on Section V girls teams are eligible to be nominated.

Maria Aguilera

Aguilera posted 20 points and 14 rebounds to push Romulus to an overtime win over Naples in a late-season Finger Lakes conference matchup.

Jayla Bell

Bell posted a triple-double — 22 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds — to push Lyons to a double-digit win over Williamson/Marion in the Lions’ regular season finale.

Anna Blodgett

The Fairport athlete ran the 600-meter race at Section V Class A1 Championships in 1 minute, 44.40 seconds, the second-fastest in the state among seventh-graders and qualifies her for the middle school race at New Balance Nationals, according to Fairport coach Christina Moore.

Lucy Bush

Bush scored 23 points in a win over Churchville-Chili, helping Pittsford Sutherland clinch the Monroe County Division II title.

Jane Carey

The Webster Thomas junior won both the shot put and weight throw competitions during the Section V Class A1 Indoor Track Championships at Nazareth University.

Hannah Casler

The Fairport junior lowered her personal best by 20 seconds during a runner-up finish in the 3,000-meter event, one of three distance races she ran at the Section V Class A1 Championships. She also scored points for Fairport in the 1,500, girls indoor track coach Christina Moore said.

Sadie Erb

The Canandaigua bowling star won the Class B individual championship by rolling the tournament's high-series at 1,187.

Corintia Griffith

The Webster Schroeder senior and Harvard recruit scored first-place finishes in the triple and long jumps during the Section V Class A1 Indoor Track Championships.

Sienna Hasseler

The Newark bowling star won the Section V Class C individual championship when she rolled the tournament's high-series at 1,192 to capture the program's seventh straight title.

Anna Lago

The Fairport bowling star won the Section V Class A individual championship by rolling the tournament's high-series at 1,264. Lago's 279 was also Class A's high game for the states-bound Red Raiders.

Anais Martinez

The junior on the Franklin/Northeast/School of the Arts/World of Inquiry indoor track team ran the fastest girls 300-meter race (40.99 seconds) of the season in Section V during the Class A1 Championships.

Olivia Monteleone

Perry’s freshman had a game-winning 3-pointer with three seconds remaining to lift the Yellowjackets over Le Roy.

Marykate Rudnicki

The Fairport senior met the state meet standard as she placed second in the 300-meter race during the Section V Class A1 Championships, girls indoor track coach Christina Moore said. She competed in three races during the meet.

Rebecca Schroeder

The Webster Schroeder freshman ran the girls 600-meter race in 1 minute, 38.22 seconds, the fastest time of the season in Section V, during the Class A1 Championships.

Haylie Smith

The Rush-Henrietta junior won the 1,500- and 3,000-meter indoor track races to help the Royal Comets win the Section V Class A1 Championships at Nazareth University.

Lydia Tutty

The Bloomfield bowling star won the Section V Class D individual championship by rolling the tournament's high-series at 1,101.

Elizabeth Tytler

The Irondequoit junior is at the top of the season's Section V indoor track 1,000-meter leaderboard after a race in 2 minutes, 58.67 seconds at the Class A1 Championships.
