Vols up one spot in latest USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll
The third weekend during Southeastern Conference play has concluded.
No. 1 LSU (24-4, 6-3 SEC) won a three-game series versus No. 9 Tennessee (21-8, 4-5 SEC), 2-1, Thursday-Saturday at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The Vols next host No. 3 Florida (24-5, 7-2 SEC), Thursday-Saturday, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
First pitch Thursday between the Vols and Gators is slated for 8 p.m. EDT (ESPNU). Game 2 on Friday is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT (SEC Network), while the series finale on Saturday is slated for 2 p.m. EDT (ESPN2).
