Vikings WR Adam Thielen officially inactive for tonight

The Vikings will have to try and claw their way back to .500 without the help of one of their best offensive players.

Minnesota officially ruled Adam Thielen as inactive for Week 15 against the Bears. The Vikings will need Justin Jefferson to take on a bigger workload, while hoping K.J. Osborn and others step up on Monday in Chicago.

Minnesota’s inactive list is as follows:

• QB Kellen Mond

• WR Adam Thielen

• LB Chazz Surratt

• G Wyatt Davis

Chicago is dealing with some key absences itself. The Bears had 14 players on the COVID-19/Reserve list at the time this article was published. Chicago also had the following players inactive:

• CB Xavier Crawford

• OL Jason Peters

• WR Marquise Goodwin

• DT Khyiris Tonga

Peters is a big loss for the Bears offense. The Chicago offensive line has been shaky and the Vikings pass rush, while depleted, can take advantage without Peters in the lineup on Monday night.
