Note: After 80 minutes of regulation and 30 minutes of overtime couldn't determine a winner, Essex advanced in a penalty shootout. Stultz, the Essex goalie, made two saves in the shootout, while Connor Nick, Henry Kinney, Eli Conti and Emilio Mattos-Canedo converting from the spot to lead the Hornets. Mattos-Canedo buried his chance inside the left post to seal the win.
