VCHS track and field's MacKenzie Glynn signs to compete collegiately at Nicholls

Vandebilt Catholic High School senior MacKenzie Glynn took the next step in her track and field career on Wednesday when she signed to compete collegiately.

In a ceremony at the VCHS library in front of her family, friends, teammates, and coaches, Glynn officially became a college athlete when she signed her letter of intent to compete at Nicholls next spring.

"Honestly, it's unreal," said Glynn. "I never thought I would be here. But without hard work and dedication, I'd never be here. Anything is possible. Three months ago, I never thought that I'd be signing a collegiate letter."

Glynn was a two-sport star for the Terriers, playing volleyball in the fall in addition to track and field in the spring.
