Varsity Maine Football Honor Roll, Week 5

Oct. 1—SEAMUS BERRY, Traip Academy — Berry ran for 99 yards and a touchdown in a 42-6 win over Mount View. Berry also returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown.

Cohen Carter, Fryeburg Academy: Carter threw three first-half touchdown passes to help the Raiders sink Cheverus 27-7. Two of the scores went to Logan Walton, for 75 and 4 yards.

Mike Foley, Cape Elizabeth: Foley rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another in a 30-27 win over York. It marked the first victory of the season for the Capers (1-4).

Cody Goucher, Maranacook: Goucher threw three touchdown passes, including a 70-yard strike to Robbie Vivenzio, in a 28-22 loss to Dirigo. The game featured two of the top eight-man Small School South teams.

Aidan McGowan, Portland: McGowan scored the Bulldogs' first three touchdowns en route to a 35-7 win over Windham in a Class A North game. The Bulldogs improved to 5-0 with the victory.

Jamier Rose, Noble: Rose scored four touchdowns — in a variety of ways — to help the Knights sink South Portland 28-20. Rose threw a touchdown pass, rushed for a pair and returned an interception for a score.

Colten Taylor, Leavitt: Taylor rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown in a 62-32 win over Lawrence. Taylor helped the Hornets racked up 644 yards of total offense.

Caleb Wandell, Scarborough: Wandell booted a 40-yard field goal in the third quarter to help the Red Storm pull out a 10-9 victory over Lewiston.
