All About Alex: Watching Christmas movies and being invisible

What do you enjoy most about the holidays?

My favorite thing to do during the holidays is spend time with family making food and cookies and watching Christmas movies.

Tell us something about you that most people don't know.

I was born in El Paso, Texas.

If you could have any super power, what would you choose?

It would be invisibility, because it helps you get away with things.

What do you consider to be the world's greatest invention?

I think the world's greatest invention is the TV because sports, movies and TV shows bring people together.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

I haven't completely decided what I'm doing after graduation, but I hope to play volleyball at the next level, and I will be majoring in business.

A dance party before the fun begins

Do you have any game-day rituals?

Before games my teammates and I have a dance party and leave the locker room to the same song every time. Another ritual right before the game is chugging an energy drink with two of my teammates.

What is your favorite high school memory at Vandegrift?

It's when we beat Westwood in the first round of district and celebrated in the locker room and at Chili's afterwards.

Dream dinner: Is Elon Musk a Swiftie?

If you could have dinner with four people in the history of the world, who would they be?

I'd pick Jesus, Taylor Swift, George Strait and Elon Musk.

Elon Musk?

I said Elon Musk because I could get lots of knowledge from him and could convince him to buy me a few things.
