Valero Texas Open 2024 TV coverage: How to watch Jordan Spieth and other Longhorns alumni

The Valero Texas Open is about an hour south of Austin and features multiple University of Texas alumni who will be competing.

Former Texas golfers Jordan Spieth and twins Pierceson and Parker Coody will be teeing off tomorrow at TPC San Antonio (Oaks) with a field that includes Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Aberg and Hideki Matsuyama. With the Masters approaching, the top-ranked golfers will be looking to get their final tune-ups in as the legendary tournament looms large.

Spieth is currently ranked 19th in the world but is also one of two former Masters winners among the golfers, with Matsuyama winning the 2021 version of the event.

Spieth missed the cut at both the Players Championship and the Valspar Championship. Before that, the Texas native tied for 30th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and was disqualified from the Genesis Invitational for reporting an inaccurate scorecard.
