USC WR Jordan Addison vs. Stanford CB Kyu Blu Kelly a must-watch matchup

If you’re an NFL fan hoping your team lands a star pass-catcher or shutdown corner in the early going of the 2023 draft, you’ll want to tune in Saturday when Stanford hosts No. 10 USC.

The Trojans have one of this year’s most hyped transfers in Jordan Addison, who won the Biletnikoff Award last year for Pitt as the nation’s top wide receiver.

As often as possible, the Cardinal should have him lined up across from Kyu Blu Kelly, the son of former NFL corner and Super Bowl champion Brian Kelly.

Addison isn’t the biggest receiver prospect, but he makes up for his lack of size with excellent route-running ability, explosiveness, and reliable hands. Kelly has the size, length and physicality to frustrate a smaller receiver like Addison at the line of scrimmage, but his fluidity and short-area quickness will be tested by the shifty USC receiver.

When the predraft process rolls around after the season, don’t be surprised if this is the first tape NFL scouts come back to when breaking down either of these prospects. That should make it must-see TV for football fans.
