USC vs. Stanford: Stream, lineups, injury reports, and broadcast info for Sept. 10, 2022

The USC Trojans meet the Stanford Cardinal in prime time. If you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

USC will be shown live on network television, a sign of Lincoln Riley’s presence as the new coach of the Men of Troy. Most of the 2021 season was spent on less prominent networks in less prominent time slots. USC played a lot of late-night games because the program did not merit prime-time treatment. That has changed.

Now, however, the Trojans need to earn their new status. They need to win this game primarily because they are pursuing a Pac-12 championship, but they also need to win this game because if they keep winning, they will continue to be shown in featured television time slots, instead of being relegated to late night. The Trojans have been given the big spotlight, and now they need to show what they are capable of. A big platform requires a big performance from Caleb Williams, and it requires a strong-enough effort from the defense to not hijack the season and its potential.

Here’s all the information you need to watch USC-Stanford.

Players to watch:

* Stanford QB Tanner McKee, who beat USC last year and sent Clay Helton packing
* USC QB Caleb Williams, who plays his first ABC prime-time game as a USC Trojan
* Stanford running back E.J. Smith, whom USC’s defense must contain
* Korey Foreman and the rest of USC’s defensive line
* Shane Lee
* Eric Gentry — USC’s linebackers figure to be very busy.
* Austin Jones — The USC transfer left Stanford to play for Lincoln Riley.
* Travis Dye — The USC transfer moves from the Oregon-Stanford rivalry to the USC-Stanford rivalry. Stanford upset Dye and Oregon last year, so this is a revenge game for Dye.
