High school football hierarchy looks to Vegas
For the first time since 2020, neither St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) or Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) sit atop the Super 25 football rankings.
IMG held the top spot in that COVID-shortened season—which didn’t have all states competing—but the following two years saw both the Monarchs and the Braves reign supreme.
After the shocker in last week’s Bosco-Mater Dei matchup, where the Braves shut out their California rival, the door was opened for a perennial Vegas power to take the No. 1 spot.
