After reviewing all options for full-season fantasy basketball in the aftermath of the NBA suspending the 2019-20 season amid the coronavirus pandemic, here’s how we’re updating leagues while we wait for a definitive answer on when/if games are going to be played.
Yahoo will be extending the current week until the season resumes. Moving forward, as the official fantasy game of the NBA, we will be following its lead to determine how the fantasy season will continue.
“As a result of the ongoing concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19, all NBA games have been suspended until further notice,” NBA Commissioner Adam Silver wrote in a letter to fans. “The NBA will continue to collaborate with our partners and keep fans updated on NBA.com as we all closely monitor this pandemic.”
Final decisions for Pro, Public, or Private leagues won’t be made until the NBA communicates its plans. For the current game week, weekly transaction limits will remain in place.
