Are underdog Bengals worth a bet in Week 7 vs. Browns?

Fresh off keeping it close against the Indianapolis Colts as intriguing underdogs, the Cincinnati Bengals once again have the same status in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns.

Those Bengals are just three-point underdogs at home against the visiting Browns, per the lines at BetMGM.

Joe Burrow and Co. have mostly been great at covering against the spread this year and the smaller line here is understandable.

Last time the Bengals and Browns engaged in the Battle of Ohio was Week 2, where the Bengals came up short by just five points, 35-30. That was a Thursday night game on a short turnaround and just Burrow’s second game of his career, so some mistakes like a snap sailing past his head while he called for timeout were expected.

Fast forward to now, the Browns have impressed at 4-2 but so has Burrow. And as good as those Browns look, they’re entering this one after a 38-7 whipping at the hands of Pittsburgh and Baker Mayfield has been dealing with an injury that got him yanked from that loss.

Add those factors to the simple fact the Bengals get to play this one at home and they’re once again a strong underdog play.
