Under-par rounds: Vote for the Storm Works Roofing High School Boys Athlete of the Week

North Quincy High's Aidan Bridges has been voted the Storm Works Roofing & Restoration High School Boys Athlete of the Week.

The senior golfer received over 4,700 votes (45.7%) to earn the honor. Bridges played the best round of his high school career, carding a 1-under-par 33 at Presidents Golf Course. That scored played a major role in the Raiders posting their lowest team score in 16 years with a 213-250 win over Silver Lake.

And this week's candidates are...

GOLF

Hunter Grafton, Sr., Abington: Grafton helped the Green Wave win their first league title since the early 1990's with a 143-101 win over Middleboro. He also carded a 2-under-par round in a 153-133 win over Rockland.

Richie Thayer, Sr., Bridgewater-Raynham: Thayer shot a 2-under-par 33 round in a win over New Bedford, 141-65. That clinched the Trojans 10th consecutive league title.

Cole Redder, Sr., East Bridgewater: Redder shot a 1-under-par at Ridder Farm Golf Course in a win over Cohasset. That scored was the lowest by a Viking in at least the last seven years.

Brady Sullivan, Jr., Archbishop Williams: Sullivan carded a 2-under-par 34 at Weathervane Golf Club in a 108-95 win over Weymouth.

John Toland, Sr., North Quincy: Toland carded a career-best 3-under-par 31 in a 209-263 win over Rockland. The victory locked up a spot in the state players for the Raiders in the final match of the season. He finished the round with three birdies and six pars.

Braden Shapiro, Jr., Oliver Ames: Shapiro shot a 1-over-par 71 as the Tigers won the Hockomock League Championships at Thorny Lea in Brockton. Shapiro had four birdies during the round and was the low medalist.

SOCCER

Lucas Oliveira, Soph., Quincy: Oliveira scored two goals in a 3-2 win over Charlestown.

Liam O'Driscoll, Braintree: O'Driscoll had two goals and two assists in a 6-1 win over Canton.

Joey Carney, Sr., Oliver Ames: Carney scored two goals in a 4-2 win over Mansfield.

Ryan Butzbach, Sr., Hanover: Butzbach scored all three of Hanover's goals in a 3-2 win over North Quincy.

Noah Cain, Sr., Franklin: Cain scored two goals with two assists in a pair of wins (5-0 over Taunton, 2-0 over North Attleborough) for the undefeated Panthers.

Jack Ianelli, Sr., + Jake Garron, Jr., Hopkinton: The captain Ianelli scored two goals as the Hillers earned a 5-2 win over Norwood. In a 2-1 win over Ashland earlier in the week, Garron scored both goals, his first tallies of the year.

Ben Martin, Sr., Medway: The captain Martin had an assist in a 2-1 win over Milford, a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss to Dedham and also scored the lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Norton.

Alex Suhajda, Sr., Holliston: The captain scored two goals and dished out an assist as the Panthers blanked Norwood, 4-0.

CROSS COUNTRY

DJ McGuire, Jr., Tri-County: McGuire won the 5K race in 19:20, his third first-place finish in four conference races, in a meet vs. Bristol-Plymouth.
