UNC football moves up in latest US LBM Coaches Poll
The North Carolina Tar Heels football program ended its losing streak by taking down Campbell in Chapel Hill on Saturday. With losses to Virginia and Georgia Tech, the Tar Heels put a big dent into their season and tumbled in the rankings.
But now with a win over the Camels, they are climbing back up.
The Tar Heels moved up in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll on Sunday from No. 25 to No. 23 overall. They got some help with teams ahead of them losing but either way, it’s a positive to see them moving up.
North Carolina will now begin a tough three-game stretch to end the season by hosting Duke and then traveling to play at Clemson and NC State on the road. Winning out would help put a little positive spin on what has become a disappointing season after the 6-0 start.
As for the rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference, Florida State checked in at No. 4 followed by No. 11 Louisville.
