UNC commit continues to impress and rack up assists on EYBL circuit

North Carolina commit Elliot Cadeau continues to make a good impression on the Nike EYBL circuit.

A week after Cadeau looked good down in Atlanta, he was back in action as the EYBL circuit shifted gears to Phoenix. And once again, Cadeau played good basketball.

On Saturday, Cadeau finished with 14 points and 11 assists in a New Heights Lightning win. It was the fifth-straight game in which Cadeau had double digits in points and assists as he’s really played well. He’s now up to 64 points and 64 assists in that stretch.

During Saturday’s game, Cadeau even had a celebration that caught the attention of Bleacher Report as he was ‘picking up dimes’ off the floor:

Cadeau is currently a five-star recruit and No. 11 player in the 2024 class per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. But if he continues to play like this, he should climb the rankings even more.

As of now, Cadeau remains in the 2024 class but there are rumors swirling that he could reclassify to 2023. If that’s the case, he very likely would be the starting point guard for Hubert Davis’ squad. That’s something to monitor here as the offseason rolls on.
