UFC on FOX Headed to San Jose's SAP Center in July
The UFC on FOX will return to San Jose, Calif. for a fight card on July 26, officials confirmed to MMAWeekly.com on Thursday evening.
A report from the San Jose Mercury News initially said the card will come to the Bay Area city, and MMAWeekly.com has learned that host venue will be the SAP Center, formerly known as the HP Pavilion.
Bouts for the card were not revealed at the time of this publication, but are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The organization's last two visits to San Jose were both UFC on FOX cards, the most recent being UFC on FOX 10 last January. On that card, Benson Henderson walked away with a split-decision win over Josh Thomson in the evening's featured bout.
UFC on FOX 7 was the organization's previous effort in San Jose, which, much like FOX 10, featured Henderson in the main event.
