UConn men's Big East semifinal game: what to know if you go - tickets, travel, parking

After a stellar regular season in which they went 28-3, the defending National Champion UConn men’s basketball team is looking to do something last year’s team failed to do: win the Big East Conference Tournament. 

After a first-round bye and an 87-60 quarterfinal win over Xavier on Thursday, the UConn men have advanced to the semifinals of the Big East Conference Tournament where they will play St. John’s. The game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Are tickets still available for the Big East semifinal?

Tickets are still available for UConn’s Big East semifinal. On Ticketmaster, the lowest price for a ticket as of Thursday night was $210.60, not including fees. Some tickets close to the floor cost more than $1,000 on Ticketmaster. A ticket purchased through Ticketmaster gets you into both Big East Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament semifinal games.

Tickets for UConn’s semifinal game started at $162.00 on StubHub Thursday evening, not including fees.

How to get to Madison Square Garden?

Where do I park for the Big East semifinals?

A number of parking spots can be found on the ParkWhiz app, which is available for download on smart phones. When using the app, enter the address or place you are going and then select the event to find parking close by. Parking for the Big East Men’s Basketball Tournament semifinals generally ranges in price from $30 to $60.
