JON ROTHSTEIN: Hi, this is Jon Rothstein for Yahoo Sports. What can the blue bloods expect in 20-21? Well if you're UCLA and Mick Cronin, you can expect to again be one of the best teams in the Pac-12.
The Bruins are expected to return virtually everybody of significance from last year's team that threatened to win the Pac-12 regular season title. Mick Cronin will add arguably the top playmaking point guard in the 2020 class in freshman Daishen Nix, as well as talented freshman forward Jaylen Clark.
The only player that UCLA could potentially lose during the offseason to the NBA is expected to be junior Chris Smith. You look at UCLA in year two under Mick Cronin. If everything returns intact, the Bruins should be in position to win a Pac-12 regular season title and earn a high seed in the 2021 NCAA tournament.
