UCLA associate AD resigns amid allegations

UCLA associate athletic director Michael Sondheimer resigned amid charges of inappropriate behavior with children on the Internet, according to the CBS2 in Los Angeles.

Sondheimer spent 36 years at the school, and was most recently involved with on-campus recruiting. In a statement, a UCLA spokesperson told CBS2: "Sondheimer was placed on administrative leave June 3, immediately after the university learned of allegations that he had engaged in inappropriate conduct. The allegations were unrelated to his job at UCLA and did not involve students or any other employees."

Sondheimer's lawyer had no comment to CBS2. An investigation is still pending.
