U.S. Army Bowl score, updates, highlights and commitments from high school all-star game

Eighty of the nation's top high school football recruits met in Frisco, Texas, to face off in the U.S. Army Bowl on Monday.

The game, an All-American Showcase propelled bySigning Day Sports, took place at The Ford Center at 7 p.m. CT and is set to be televised on the Stadium network.

The U.S. Army Bowl will feature talented high school recruits who are committed to top-tier college football programs. Notre Dame commits wide receiver Micah Gilbert, linebacker Bodie Kahoun and cornerbackLeonard Moore took the field along with two-time state champion brothers Devontae and Deontae Armstrong, offensive linemen headed to Ohio State next season.

Ultimately, the game turned out to be a defensive-optional showcase as the Gold Team dominated the Black Team 62-37, though there were a few defensive standouts in the game.

Fourth Quarter: Gold 62, Black 37

11:20 p.m.: The U.S. Army Bowl nearly hits the century mark in terms of points scored. The final score of the night: A long touchdown connection between four-star quarterack Miles O'Neill (Texas A&M commit) to receiver Dillon Gresham (Oregon commit).

Touchdown, Black Team: Gold 56, Black 37

10:15 p.m.: Four-star tight end Damarion Witten (Ohio State commit) has a nice touchdown snag to bring the Black Team a little closer to the Gold.

10:10 p.m.: Three-star linebacker Christopher Jones of Hartfield Academy (Flowood, Mississippi) announces his commitment to Southern Miss late in the ame.

Touchdown, Gold Team: Gold 50, Black 31

10:06 p.m.: Touchdown, Gold Team! Jackson Gilbert throws a touchdown to I'Marion Stewart (Michigan commit), who makes a nice touchdown snag in the end zone to give the Gold Team a 56-31 lead.

9:57 p.m.: Nice sack by Danny Okoye (Oklahoma commit) brings up second-and-forever for the Black Team, and the Gold will eventually punt.

Third Quarter: Gold 50, Black 31

9:40 p.m.: Hurley finds Damarion Witten with a beautiful throw right into Witten's stride for a touchdown on what might be the best play of the game. The three-point conversion is good.

Touchdown, Gold: Gold 50, Black 22

9:37 p.m.: Jacob Jordan, a future Oklahoma Sooner, gets a screen pass and makes a filthy juke move to evade a tackle and runs it into the end zone. The three-point conversion is no good.

9:32 p.m.: Chris Davis Jr. carries it up to middle to set up first-and-goal.

9:30 p.m.: On fourth-and-6, O'Neil finds Chris Davis Jr. to move into the red zone.

Touchdown, Black : Gold 44, Black 22

9:25 p.m.: Army commit Ben Wagner gets his second touchdown of the day, racing away down the left sideline.

9:22 p.m.: Hurley's throw is behind Notre Dame commit Gilbert and he can't hold on to the ball.

9:17 p.m.: Iowa State commit Dylan Lee gets into the end zone for another Team Gold touchdown.

9:14 p.m.: From the 42-yard line, O'Neil throws a 50 yard bomb to Jacob Jordan to move Team Gold into first-and-goal.

9:11 p.m.: Hurley sets his feet, steps back in the pocket, and finds Ben Wagner, an Army commit, for a touchdown.

9:10 p.m.: Micah Gilbert makes two players miss as he gets a first down off a screen play.

9:09 p.m.: Damarion Witten, an Ohio State commit, connects with Hurley for a first down.

9:08 p.m.: Hurley's first throw to Javarius Green is bobbled and incomplete.

9:07 p.m.: Team Black gets the kick off to start the second half.

8:44 p.m.: The first half comes to an end from The Ford Center.

8:40 p.m.: A 43-yard field goal try is good for Team Gold with 12 seconds left in the first half.

8:35 p.m.: A false start on the offense moves the chains back to a fourth-and-7, but Kilburg is sacked. However, a facemask penalty makes it a first down.

8:31 p.m.: Stanford commit Chris Davis Jr. rallies in a throw from Kilburg.

8:27 p.m.: Damarion Witten comes up with a diving catch for Team Black's first points of the game.

8:25 p.m.: Notre Dame commit Micah Gilbert comes up with a nice catch over his shoulder to move Team Black in the red zone.

8:20 p.m.: Jackson Kilburg delivers a perfect pass to I'Marion Stewart with a looping ball by the left pylon, as Team Gold continues to pile it on.

8:17 p.m.: A mishap with the first down marker has caused a stoppage in play.

8:13 p.m.: Jacob Jordan makes a leaping catch around the 30-yard line, great pass from Kilburg.

8:10 p.m.: Team Gold's defensive line is dominating, as Bodie Kahoun gets a tackle for loss and forces Team Black to punt.

8:09 p.m.: Javarius Green spins away from tackles for his first catch of the game. He's a North Carolina commit.

8:04 p.m.: Zion Taylor gets a pick-six as the Caminong looked to get rid of the football under pressure and accidentally throws it to Taylor, who runs it down to the other sideline.

8:03 p.m.: Kilburg is picked off by Brandon Jacob, playing the middle of the field and reading the quarterback's eyes.

8:01 p.m.: Another run and catch for Jayden Johnson as Team Gold gets a first down.

8:00 p.m.: Caminong cannot find a receiver on fourth-and-16, as Team Black will punt again.

7:59 p.m.: Josh Alexander-Fulton sacks E.J. Caminong near the Dallas Cowboys logo at The Ford Center.

7:52 p.m.: Parker Fulghum races to the end-zone for a 73-yard touchdown as Jackson Kilburg finds the open receiver on the left side of the field.

7:47 p.m.: Hurley is brought down for a short gaint. Team Black punts again. The first quarter comes to an end.

7:44 p.m.: Kahnen Daniels, the tailback for Team Black that has committed to Florida, moves the chains on a first down run.

7:41 p.m.: Team Gold runs the "Tush Push," a quarterback sneak, for an easy touchdown.

7:39 p.m.: O'Neil launches one downfield, and Jacob Jordan comes up with a catch after the ball is bobbled by multiple players. Team Gold is inside the first-yard line.

7:38 p.m.: Jayden Johnson rallies in another catch for a short gain, but both teams have not thrown the ball deep yet in this one.

7:37 p.m.: O'Neil hits Jayden Johnson on a bubble screen for a first down.

7:37 p.m.: Quick three-and-out for the Black team so they will punt.
