What to know for 2023

Rockport-Fulton will have a new head coach when the Pirates take the field for their season opener against Miller next week. Jacob Bible will begin his first season after being named the program's next head football coach and athletic director in February. The Pirates are hoping to get back to the postseason after missing out last season in a competitive district. This year's Rockport-Fulton team will feature 10 returning starters from last season, including a new quarterback in Sean Howell. The Pirates also return key players Noah Jones and Adrian Estrada, who will look to anchor the team's defense.

Coach Jacob Bible on the 2023 season

“When I first got here, I changed the strength and conditioning part of the program and they haven't missed a beat. They just got after it and busted their tails. They show up everyday and I love them for that. Everything is new now. The offense, the defense, special teams... But being with these kids has been awesome. They are a fun group to be a part of."
