Twitter reacts to Texas A&M’s 5-4 win over Arkansas in the SEC Tournament Semifinals
No. 10 Texas A&M continued its magical run in the SEC Tournament with a 5-4 win over No. 2 Arkansas on Saturday, officially sending the Hogs home while punching their ticket to the title game on Sunday.
Despite the highs and lows of the regular season, the Maroon and White have effectively put the trials of the past in the rearview mirror as they are arguably playing their best baseball of the season throughout this tournament. And it’s not like they’ve been besting meager foes en route to their success, either.
The Aggies have overcome the likes of No. 7 Tennessee, No. 6 South Carolina, No. 3 LSU, and now No. 2 Arkansas as they seek their first SEC Championship since 2016. While the job is by all means yet finished, the Maroon and White have already added themselves to the history books.
With Saturday’s victory, the No. 10 Aggies become the first double-digit seed in SEC Tournament history to reach the title game.
Following the win, Twitter reacted to the latest chapter of Texas A&M’s stellar run in the tournament. If there’s one common thread among the social media chatter as of late, it’s an agreement that the Aggies are peaking and playing their best ball of the season, and it couldn’t come at a perfect time.
Here are the best social media reactions following Saturday’s semifinals victory:

No one can deny that the Aggies are red-hot through this tournament, and it begins with the pitching
What a wild week for @AggieBaseball. The #Aggies improved to 4-1 at the #SEC tournament and advanced to the tourney title game with a win over Arkansas. A&M is sizzling hot this week, primarily w/ the starting pitching. https://t.co/qUVCzE5uVG

The Aggies have made it through a gauntlet of foes in search of their first title since 2016
I'm not sure whoever wins this year's CWS will face a tougher road than the one A&M will see in Hoover. Arkansas (2x), LSU, Tenn, South Carolina and either Florida or Vandy. Ags have REALLY risen to the occasion here.

Feel free to take up your complaint with the SEC, and let us know what they say while you're at it
How can we beat a team in the same double elimination tourney and they win by 1 in the semi’s and not have to play us again? It’s double elimination for the teams that take losses early in the tournament? @sec #secbaseball #championships @RazorbackBSB #razorbacks #SECTourney

Texas A&M baseball continues to upset the higher seeds in the SEC tournament. Make the UT loss in the 1st round sting a little less.

If there was ever a moment to take down the Hogs for the first time, we'll gladly do so in the SEC semis
