Twitter reacts to the Eagles teasing release of alternate all-black helmets

Teams like the Bengals, Giants, Falcons, and Panthers have all unveiled new alternate helmets or uniforms. Eagles fans have patiently waited for months as the team is expected to unveil a new alternate black helmet.

Last June, the NFL approved a rule that allows teams to wear a secondary helmet to blend in with the new alternate jersey craze.

Because the Eagles initially submitted black as the color of choice for 2021 and 2022, they’ll have to wait another year to bring back the famous Kelly Green look.

On Friday morning, the Eagles’ Twitter account sent out a 12-second video, hyping fans up about the release, which should happen sometime during the day.

Fans react to everything, and Philadelphia teasing the new helmets was no different.
