Twitter Reactions: Wyndham Clark becomes first Oregon Duck to win major championship
Earlier this year, former Oregon Duck Wyndham Clark broke through at long last on the PGA Tour, winning his first career professional tournament at the Wells Fargo Championship.
Four starts later, he won his first career major championship, taking down Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler at the U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club.
Clark is now the first Oregon Duck to ever win a major championship.
When the winning putt dropped, the Oregon alumnus celebrated on Twitter, and the golf world went crazy for Wyndham, a player who has been grinding at the professional ranks for years, and finally saw it culminate in a major win.
