Twitter reactions: Michigan football lands 4-star edge Dominic Nichols
It has been a rough week when it comes to Michigan football recruiting. The Wolverines inexplicably lost linebacker, Aaron Chiles, when he committed to Florida. The maize and blue also lost targets Darrien Mayo to Clemson and cornerback prospect Bryce West to Ohio State.
But, Sunday is a new day, and Michigan is back to landing big targets.
2024 edge prospect Dominic Nichols announced his commitment to Michigan over Kentucky, Penn State, Clemson and Wisconsin.
With Michigan landing Nichols, he is the 23rd commitment to the class and the second edge prospect. According to the 247Sports composite, Nichols is a four-star recruit and the 433rd-ranked recruit in the 2024 class. He hails from Ijamsville (Maryland) Oakdale High School.
