Twitter reactions: Michigan football defeats Hawaii

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The game started rough, but not because of the game because the football game started an hour late due to a lightning delay.

Once Michigan kicked off to the Rainbow Warriors, it was pure domination. Michigan forced a three-and-out right off the bat, and it took two plays for J.J. McCarthy to make his presence felt. The former five-star recruit threw a dime to Roman Wilson for a 42-yard touchdown.

That was when the onslaught began.

The Wolverines entered halftime with a 42-0 lead. When Michigan returned for the second half, it was playing backups to give them some important experience.

The maize and blue ended up allowing some points to Hawaii in the second half, but it was an overall impressive performance, especially from the offense. If there was still a quarterback battle, it appears to have ended on Saturday night against the Rainbow Warriors. J.J. McCarthy’s final line ended 11-for-12 for 229 yards and three scores. His quarterback rating was an astounding 334.5.

The Wolverines defeated Hawaii, 56-10.

Of course, Twitter reacted to the Michigan win. Here are the best reactions we could find.
